CAS

Commencing in 2006 it has taken CAS three years to get its distinctive ‘roundal’ logo to be registered with the UK Intellectual Property Office based in Newport, Wales. The process became protracted as result of an opposition bid by another company that contested that the logo and associated business descriptions conflicted with their own. The ensuing legal tussle ended in July 2009 with an adjudication in our favour stating that there was no perceived conflict and that costs were awarded accordingly.

The mark was then formally registered under No. 2431060 as of the 29th August 2006 and in the name of Communications Advisory Service Ltd.
